I graduated from Palestine-Wheatley High School.
Iwent to school online to receive my Bachelors. My endorsements for teaching are 1-6 Elementary Education/ 4-8 All Core Subjects.

I began in the Forrest City School District in August 2007 as a teachers aide at the ABC School. While I was at the ABC school, I decided to go back to school. I received my certification in 2011 and switched schools because there wasn’t an opening for me at the ABC School. I was switched to Lincoln Middle School in 2011 and taught math/science for 5 years until this year. When I changed to the Special Education Department, I transfered to the Junior High in 2015. I have been in the district for 12 years.
I have one dog and his name is Tippy.
I have 3 children. My daughter is 21 and attending Concorde in Memphis to become an Occupational Therapist Assistant. She will graduate next spring. My oldest son is 20 and he is in the Army stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Tx. My youngest son is 17 and is a senior at Marvell Academy.
My favorite hobby is shopping. However, my budget does not agree with my hobby. Another thing I like to do when I have spare time is read. Reading is something every person needs to excel in school and life.
